Welcome to the Website of Kinlochleven High School.

Kinlochleven High School serves the South Lochaber area drawing pupils from the following primary schools: Kinlochleven, Ballachulish , Glencoe and Duror.

In August 2008 we were lucky enough to move to a new Public & Private Partnership school operated by Morrisons FS. The school is now situated on what was Riverside Park.

The school which operates within the Leven Centre Campus now has state of the art 21st Century ICT facilities (in all classrooms), two gym halls, a fitness suite, a 150 seat theatre and many more exciting and interesting features. The campus incorporates Kinlochleven library, which includes the Highland Council Service Point, in addition to a games hall and state of the art astroturf pitch for school and community use.

I have been lucky enough to be Head Teacher since August 2007 and thoroughly enjoy working here. Teaching staff, auxiliary staff, pupils, parents and members of the local community really do work together to ensure that the school flourishes. In February 2010 we were inspected by HMIe with the outcome being very favourable. The HMIe report can be viewed on the Information for Parents and Carers page.

There is a great atmosphere in the school and we strive to make sure that pupils achieve their full potential at all times.
